 Our Destination ImagiNation team competed in Mesquite, Texas February 28th. The team left Brookeland, Friday, February 27th around 9:00 am and returned the afternoon of Sunday, March 1st.
Teams choose their own team challenge. They must create their own props and skits to solve the problem presented within the budget determined by DI. The team had 8 minutes to set up and perform their skit. Additionally, at competition, the teams competed in an Instant Challenge. They had no idea what the challenge was until they were guided to a room that was set up with props. They then had a given number of minutes to complete the task as a team. After they were done they were escorted to a holding room to talk over their choices. These challenges are very secretive until after Globals. Our team did a great job and enjoyed the challenge. |
